First Build Plan

Hey everyone!

I will be building my first PC in approximately 6 months. I am starting to plan out my build now. This is a budget build but my budget can change. I will be building an ITX system for gaming. Here is what I have so far:

 

 

Case: White Bitfenix Prodigy with side panel window

 

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77N-WIFI LGA ITX Intel Motherboard

 

CPU: Intel i5-3570k

 

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i

 

Graphics Card: EVGA 02G-P4-2670-KR GeForce GTX 670 2GB

 

Storage: Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD / WD Blue 1TB

 

PSU: Silverstone ST55F-G 550W 80+ GOLD PSU Fully Modular

 

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

 

I was wondering if this configuration is balanced and if all of the parts will be compatible. Also, is there anything that I could spend less/more on? I want this build to last me for a while. Thanks in advance!  :)

Haswell and the 700 series from NVidia are coming out in a month or 3.

Should I wait for the 700 series? I would think that they would be a big increase in price...

If you're building in six months wait and see what comes. Six months is a long time in the techworld.

Current build: Antec P180, Asus P8Z68 Pro, Intel i5-2500k, Asus GTX 570 2GB, Patriot 16GB 1600MHz, Corsair HX 650W.
