The OC might give you a big boost in performance, or it might not. It all depends on the individual card.

As long as you're not messing around with voltages, you should be fine. The power limit is basically the amount of power that can be delivered to the card. If the overclock is unstable, raising the power limit might make it stable again.

I'd say put the power limit at 110%-120% and then play with the memory and GPU sliders until the overclock is stable and you're not getting artefacts.

So... I  OCed with +20% Power Limit. 1180MHz Core (Stock: 1080MHz) 1550MHz Memory (Stock: 1400MHz) Fan: 50% (18% Auto) and seems to be stable, 1200MHz Core or 1600MHz Memory crashes (I think) and I won't change the voltage, I don't want to take risks. I used Furmark to see if it's stable, it could manage the 15min benchmark burn-in, and in the 1920*1080 60 sec 0xMSAA non-stock got 2503 (41FPS) and with OC I got 2729 (45FPS).

I'm happy with the results (for now e.e)

you can give it all the voltage on the stock bios. otherwise it wouldn't be able to have a warranty.
