Hey,

I'm looking to buy a laptop and maybe i'm being too picky. i'm wondering if there's any websites similar in idea to PCPartpicker, where you would put in what type of spec you're looking for, and it would generate a list.

reason i'm asking is im trying to find a laptop with TB3 ports and simple Nvidia GPU on the cheaper side.

anyone have insight, or models to recommend? Asus, Acer, MSI preferred, as they have warranty depot's within driving distance of me.

unless i can find better, i've kind of settled on waiting for the new Asus TUF A15 and just giving up that Thunderbolt 3 support.

(if it matters, Canadian. and offtopic, Darnit LTT, you're canadian, give pricing in canadian dollars!!!! -_-)

Budget is somewhat flexible i was anticipating 1200-1300 approximately on the high end. im cool with refurbished as well. will probably be buying from Canada Computers because i'm a former employee (former service tech) and can still score some discounts from locations where old co-workers work.

for graphics, honestly even the Nvidia MX series graphics is fine. for the most part it's going to be playing Wow Classic and Wow, i don't mind turning graphics down some (its wow. even on high, its still looks potato lol)

if i was to go through everything, i'd want something in the 14 or 15" range, i'd like something that doesn't have the weight of a ton of bricks, but also don't need ultrabook levels of portability. i5/equivalent is fine. Ram, Storage... as long as there isnt a warranty sticker on it to have to argue about, i can do upgrades myself.
the big part for me is the non upgradable parts

and as i said in my opener, if i have to give up TB3 that's fine.

Yeah, price in Canadian, and to bu used primarily on wallpower, so if shorter battery its not a huge deal. it would be beneficial if it didn't just die immediately, though, too
