FPS Drops

My laptop is Acer Nitro 7 with the following specs.

CPU:- core i7 9750H

GPU:- GTX 1660 Ti

RAM:- 8GB DDR4

SSD:- 1TB m.2 in Raid 0 

Screen: Full HD, 144Hz 3ms

 

I get max FPS around 199, average of 140, but it usually stays below 100 for most part of the time. I have made sure that the power plan is not on battery save mode, and is kept at high performance. I appreciate any help in improving the FPS.

Did you monitor your temperature ? Usually a decrease in FPS with a laptop is caused because of thermal throttling.
