Advice on this build What would you change, remove?

 

All advice is welcomed 

 

 

I plan to use this system for Mainly gaming but also animation, photo editing, VM's, Frapsing and general work

Corsair 650 D case ( with Nocta fans to provide better cooling i am thing of using 2 additional N-FF 12's across the hard drive bays  and one Noctua NF-S12A for the bottom intake 

 

Intel core i53570k

 

Swift tech 220 ( with 4 Noctua N-FF 12 fans)

 

Asus P8z77-VLK LGA 1155 intel Z77 

 

Eight gigs of corsair vengeance ram 2x4 

 

I am still un decided on the graphics card ( See my other post) Plan to have duel cards in the future 

 

Sea sonic x series 850W

 

Just a cheep DVD writer 

 

256 gig 840 pro + 750 blue i already have

Everything looks good, the power supply is pretty overkill for what you need. A 650W is more than sufficient for that build, but if you want more then that's also cool. I don't see any form of HDD (or SSD) in it, do you already have one?

Power suppy is a bit too much, unless you are are getting a BEAST of a card

I'd say, for this rig, a 680 or 670 SLI

If you're from the UK, might I suggest looking through "The Computer Planet"? I work with them and often send people to them for generic builds, rather than the cutom ones I do, perhaps you could use them, or check the price difference anyway? They stock everything you said, so pricing will be very close :)
