OK I'm taking my first steps into overclocking on my AMD FX-6300 im using AMD overdrive so wish me luck.

Best of luck - remember to set overdrive to commence overclock on start up, and also make sure to save a profile that is stock, in case anything happens you can always revert back to that one. Any problems, and we're always here! :D

I strongly suggest using the bios to overclock rather then using AMD Overdrive because it can be quite buggy and good luck :)

I say go for it. Make sure you save the stock config, and you're fine. Btw I did oc my APU laptop to 2,3Ghz from the basic 1,9Ghz.

And now I can play games like GTA 4 with decent fps
