Folding@home Team

Hey I think it would be a great way to get the comunity involved in Folding@home (http://folding.stanford.edu). What better way than to have an official LinusTechTips team?

This would allow the community to help out medical / scientific reserch all while it is a collaborative effort between all of us here!

Link to the teams page is here:

Maybe Linus , Diesel, or Slick will see this and maybe consider making a team for all of us to contribute our computing power.

I think this is a great idea, perfect situation to make a team with too. A whole bunch of computer geeks on a brand new forum looking for any way to get involved xD I hope this works out and we get a team going.

I heard about folding@home on the live stream and thought it was awesome.

Although i would be worried if it affected my performance too much.

I feel i am being a bit selfish there but i bought a £2000 gaming rig for gaming but still like the idea of helping in some way
