Building a new pc

So I currently have a fx6300 processor and am going to be doing a major upgrade next month I am mainly going to be using it for video and audio editing and photoshop with a bit of gaming I am wondering if I should go for ryzen 2700x or 3600x for me either is a major upgrade with have the ASRock steel legend B450 atx board, gtx 1060 graphics card in it with a m.2 nvme drive and a mass storage spinning drive

the 3600 is better than the 2700 in games, photoshop and after effects. any other software you're planning to use?

Will be using the Adobe suite and will have plex on my pc

i'd get the 3600 non-x. the x version is only worth $10 more, so only get it if it's max $10 more than the 3600

I have machines with both, honestly there is not a LOT of difference though the 3600x is a little better.

 

As for the mobo and other parts it looks fine.

 

The graphics card is where I have a problem.

 

The 1060 is great, it really is but check out craigslist first. I got a 2080 (fully functional) for the same price as a new 1030. Ya try it first.
