Gtx 670 Overclocking Problems

Hey guys, I've got an MSI power edition GTX 670, and its showing some weird patterns. So far, I've gotten it to run at 1306mHz with 1.15 volts. I unlocked the bios to allow 1.21 volts, but I cannot overclock any farther. I'm guessing this is a flat out limit that my GPU cannot go any faster? I'm open to try any custom BIOSes if anybody has them, and a little education on Kepler overclocking would also be appreciated :) always willing to learn something.

What temperature does it run at? Sometimes overclocking temps can affect the limit it goes. If any farther then might was well liquid cool it!

I'm gonna guess it's just the limit of your card. Also, be careful when your flashing your BIOS. It's really not recommended. I've heard that overclocking the memory on Kepler yields better results then overclocking the core, although that could be wrong

It runs at around 66-68 degrees, depending on ambient temperature. I'm getting an Accelero Extreme III soon though, water is too expensive for me.

And to Brovahkiin, I have the memory clocked at 7200, so I maxed out the memory overclock.

Don't overclock anymore till the Accelero is on and see how that goes. Good Luck

Is a accelero a good idea, i dunno anymore. Anyways watch out as the aftermarket coolers can take a lot of blood out of your hands(maybe just me)but they will look better with the hints of red.

But my build is blue themed! :p Haha, the cooler itself appears to kick some serious butt. Its almost 12 inches long if I remember correctly.
