Hey! I'm new here and never have picked parts for a build so I'm asking if I have missed something or if there is something I should change. Also tell me if this seems completely fine!

What I'm going after is a PC I can buy around Finland for ~1000€. I want to use it for working with music, playing games and maybe doing some light video editing. I don't need peripherals or Windows 10 as I already own a licence I can transfer.

I like the idea of small form factor and silent build, but silence isn't priority. Also I'm not aiming crazy high FPS's but my monitor is 1440p.

Here are the parts I have gathered: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3qLMwh

In a list form:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (204,90€)

Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (83,90€)

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (79,90€)

Storage: Intel 660p 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (115,90€)

Video Card: KFA2 GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB Video Card (345,90€)

Case: Cooler Master Silencio 352 MicroATX Mini Tower Case (79,90€)

Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (87,90€)

I would recommend buying Intel 760p, actually. They tend to live way longer. And they can have literally more than 8 PB (yep, petabytes, aka 1000 times more than terabyte) per 1 TB written on them w/o any issues.

Source: https://3dnews.ru/938764/page-3.html#Intel%20SSD%20760p (256 GB unit managed to have 3442 TB worth of random data written onto it, first problems occuring around 2300 TB mark.)

Is there reason to go with Radeon RX 5600 insted of GeForce RTX 2060? And is there any difference with the memories, storage and power supply you picked and the same things I picked? I did my virtual shopping at tehorauta.fi

And if you want more silence, you better buy a bigger CPU tower cooler that can dissipate more heat than OEM one. Just saying.

Yeah, I thought about this, but I think I'm trying first how it sounds with the stock cooler and then I can decide if I upgrade later.

i'd replace the 1tb ssd by a 120 or 250 gb one for the system + a hdd

Unless you need NVENC and RTX/Ansel, 5600 XT is going to have almost the same perfomance (maybe even better) than usual 2060 non-SUPER. Especially if your unit is going to have its BIOS updated to accommodate higher GPU and memory clocks.

G.Skill is cheaper and has same speed. Plus you could probably overclock it to have even better perfomance (though, that's also true for Corsair, too).

Storage is just cheaper, plus 660p is QLC and a slow one at that. Which is why I said earlier about 760p.

Power supply is going to be quieter because it's not going to do a job as big for itself as 650 W one. Plus more room for PSU degradation (that happens after awhile, and after a really long time... Like, 3 years at least).

Thank you for you replies! I opted for Radeon RX 5600, different storage: 500GB faster M.2 and 500GB 2,5'' SSd, and 650W power supply! I didn't get the excact recommended things as I wanted to buy all the parts from one place but took notes and accommodated based on suggestions.

Thank you! This place has a great community.
