I have picked a few video cards and I just want your toughts on which one should I get (or should I wait for any new GPUs?) :

  • Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 XT - 460€
  • MSI RTX 2060 SUPER GAMING X - 460€
  • Zotac RTX 2070 SUPER Amp - 560€

If I got the 2070 super, I would need to save up more money. My CPU will be Ryzen 7 3700x and I play Minecraft, Rust, Dying Lights, Overwatch. I would want either 1080p high FPS or 1440p 144fps. I don't know if the second one is possible with any of these cards.

5700xt is the best value, is faster than the 2060 super but lacks RTRT and NVENC encoder. The 5700xt is only single digits behind the 2070 super as well, but as listed above lacks those two features.

If you don't stream, 5700xt. If you do, 2060 super.

If you don't mind the premium, the 2070 Super is generally better than both and has more usable RTRT than the 2060 Super.

Does recording fall under said streaming?

Not really; I find ReLIVE to be decent enough and not apply too large a performance tax for recording a video here and there.

If youre doing it just sparingly it won't be too big an issue vs if you stream full time, where the NVENC will be more noticeable.
