Hello. I have an msi b30 pro vdh (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B350M-PRO-VDH.html) and i cant use my bios. Basically, it is not possible for me to enter it normally. Ive tried spamming the keys that enter throughout booting, it doesnt work. The only wy for me to enter it is to go into advanced settings in windows settings and boot to the UEFI. However, when I do this, the bios is really messed up. I cannot press enter or escape, or the screen goes black and all my peripherals shut down. I cannot enter a value into any clock that is not ram (because ram is more of a settings menu rather than an input), or the screen goes black and all my peripherals shut down. It is very frustrating and all help is appreciated.

As a side note, i have been having crashes occasionally while playing games such as ark survival evolved and the crashes are similar in nature. Not sure how related this is.

Take a look on here, install a new version and see if it resolves your issue, however if its already broken it could cause some serious issues so be weary.

Also - probably don't go for beta, go for a stable version.

- Sorry I can't add more, but thought i'd throw in that for what its worth.

Good luck

Could cause some serious issues?

Pull out all the memory.

Test each stick in the first slot next to the cpu.

A bad memory stick can cause issues like you are experiencing.

Oh clear the cmos each time and before the first time.

ah. I did just put in another 8 gigs of ram recently. But it was brand new :( Could it be because i have a 2x4 that is from 1 manufacturer and another 2x4 that is from another?

Yessir, that very well maybe.

Do the testing. Pull all the sticks. Test A2 and B2 slots on each set of memory. Use the memory of the highest speed and quality.

It's best to buy 4x4 kits opposed to even purchasing the exact same memory later. Your best chances is getting the exact same memory as the old kit (or the new kit, that leaves you a spare set).
