Sometimes when i see people playing pc on youtube the graphics seem to look better than mine, does anyone else think that? Is it just me? My monitor is perfectly calibrated, i wonder if when watching it in i phone the sharpness of the phone makes it look better? Better aa for example

Iv'e had that feeling. Maybe its because when we are playing the game, we are looking at the finer details than when watching the video

There are several different factors that may preseve that. It could be color correction or other forms of editing. If you are watching a video in 1080p in a small screen it will look much higher quality than it would if you were to go fullscreen. If you have a 1080p monitor, watch a 1080p video and go into fullscreen, you will probably see that the quality is actually worse than when you are playing the game. Also, as Snickerzz said, when you aren't playing the game you aren't really paying attention to that kind of stuff, you are paying attention to the character more than the environment.

Yeah maybe, it must be a mental thing, i find im always fiddling with my monitor, and never satisfied. my sister came to visit and played bf3, i sat back and it looked great. So you could be right there! If anyone can suggest the best monitor calibration in general or any tips? I think its calibrated ok though

No not really it all looks good but sometimes i see clips of fps games that i dont even know and the lighting looks great and its really clear, mine sometimes looks a bit gritty, may be sharpness? Do tn panels look better during gaming at 120hz or are ips panels better in general for image quality?
