I'd prefer a R9 290 for the gpu, but it seems good

I agree with @Dmon , IMO it's never a good idea to start a build with a SLI/CF. Get the most powerful single GPU you can buy, and if you think you'll SLI later down the road, choose the PSU accordingly.
