Howdy Folks

My first time posting here, or on any forum really, so bare with me.

I'm having a problem with an old 4th gen Intel system, for some reason any Mouse or WiFi adapter I connect via USB just wont fire up at random. They then require being reinserted before they work. Keyboard has never failed to power up, changing the mouse also still lead to failure to power up.

I've tried testing with case ports vs mobo ports, I've tried reinstalling windows drivers, USB 2.0 vs 3.0 ports didn't change anything either. I even connected all the devices on a USB 3.0 hub and the same ones still failed at random.

Could this be a simple issue that every common USB fixing trick just couldn't fix or could the mobo be faulty? Would appreciate any input as I've been looking for solutions for a month and nothing has worked. Running on an old MSI H81M-P33 mobo.

Thanks in advance
