Is it Possible to mount a Different M-ATX Motherboard in an OMEN 870?

Go to solution Solved by Crunchy Dragon,

It looks like the standoffs are the same, so as long as the power connectors are standard ATX, you should be fine.

I was looking to mount a AM4 Motherboard inside the case and i was curious if it would fit or not, HP usually nowadays has alot of proprietary MBs and PSUs and i wanted to make sure that it might work. As i can Replace the Stock PSU with a EVGA 650w.

On the official website HP Claims that the type of MB in each model is a M-ATX board, just put on the opposite side of how most PC's mount motherboards

The MB i was looking to install was a GIGABYTE B450M DS3H. I'm open to different boards as long as they work

Image result for Omen 870 This is what comes with the PC being the I7 Model.
