[Please Help] CodeBar Scanner working oddly

Hi guys

 

I have a codebar scanner on my work that doesn't work properly.

 

The scanner is always on, everytime I try to scan a codebar it just won't scan or hardly does, However, when I put the scanner on top of the PC case it works fine. At 1st I thought it was a faulty scanner but I've switch scanners and It acts the same. When I use on other Pc's it works properly, i already tried on other USB ports to with no success.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

CPU:i5-7400

Ram: 4Gb

Gpu: Intel HD Graphics 630

So I figured, apparently lights are interfering with the codebar somehow, so if it's a dark environment it works well .
