thermal paste take off question

Just take the cooler off and clean the paste off

 

If you're putting more pressure down than a cooler would on the cpu then I'd be surprised

So ive decided that i want to upgrade the stock cooler for the 3600 to an aio however i was wondering how i should go about cleaning the thermal paste off like should i do it in the case which is waht i was considering but then i thought what if i was to damage the pin for putting to much pressure with the alcoholic wipes and how i can stop the cpu sticking to the fan/coming off with it?
