Re-doing entire setup

This is sorta the right section, although it'll sorta be a "set-up" log so to speak.  When we remodeled our house awhile back, we never finished the rooms, only the bathroom+kitchen+front room+ dining room.

 

When I got help from my stepdad with building my desk, he half-assed it and didn't really listen to anything I asked for, so I was never overly joyed with the result.   My vinyl top we glued down with industrial floor glue started to peel up, and I've had about enough with it now.  The new desk should look something like this:   I'll probably get a straight desk though, and put it along the wall I took the picture of further down in the thread.

 

  

 

 

I'll try and keep it up to date with everything I do as much as possible.

 

 

 

Current setup:

(the toothpick in the case is a skewer I sharpened into a flat-head screwdriver for my pump speed, there's like no room in my case to change it with a screwdriver, it's ridiculous lol.)

 

 

 

 

So far I went to Lowe's earlier and checked out paints, I found a gray I really like, I'll be painting all the walls with it.  I only got a sample size to check out the color, so it's not a big space yet.

 

 

 

 

 

I'll also make 10000000% sure that all cables are not noticeable when I can, I'll be going through and buying all new cables that need to be longer.  Some of my already existing cables aren't long enough, so I'll need to replace those for sure.

Painted room 90% yesterday on livestream lol.

 

I'll upload and post pictures soon, I've gotta go through and touch-up everything with a brush!

We booted my stepdad for being a D to my mom thankfully, so I'll get to do my setup the way it should of been the first time, not half-assed because he wanted to finish it.

No problem I'm hoping to get enough from taxes that I can get it all done and still buy all the stuff I wanted for my setup still.

After painting 90% of the room and getting a chair recommendation from @MayflowerElectronics , I've finished a bit more of my setup.  I also ordered a new fan controller with RPM readouts+ fan shutoff ability+ temp readouts, and also ordered some icemodz LED strips for my case, I'll be ordering some slot covers soon too, that are black and cover my red pci-e/ other slots to color match a bit better.
