Weird issue

I heave this weird isusse whit a pc the screen hase white stripes on it  but the issue is not the video card or the screen the both work fine i tesed the memoery and the psu to and they both work fine what cold be the problem btw the pc is a core 2 duo 7300 whit a 3870 4 gb of kingstone 800 mhz ram and an asrock 4 core 1600 glan motherboard pls help

How did you establish that it was not the monitor or gpu?

 

Did you try a different cable? Or a different port on the gpu? Or, if the monitor has multiple ports, a different port on the monitor?

I would test the cable first, swap it for a different one or a known working one, try I different output (vga if using DVI or any other digital connection or run a digital connection if your using VGA) then i would try your display, try changing displays, eg use your tv. if that still not working, try changing the video out ports on your gcard, I know on mine, (7970) one of the DVI ports is buggered, but yet the other one works, i dont know why, but its not worth RMAing it) try it. next if its still not fixed try a different video source, say your onboard graphics if your using a dedicated card, or find a crappy spare one, or borrow one from somewhere and chuck it in and see if thats fixed if thats still hasnt fixed it, i would put it at a motherboard issue, you could update your bios and see if that fixes it. otherwise i would replace your mobo (if possible, and test that)
