Hello I recently have been looking into building a small form factor computer over the next few months to take with me when I travel. I put together a build here:

Let me know what you think!!

It seems fine.  I’ve got some thoughts on fine tuning but they’re minor and they’re more choice options than anything else.

A good bit of money is being spent on a small platinum PSU.  There could be some saving on fans.  Not a lot though, and for the fans only if the fans are vertical.  The big value of noctua is the bearing is known good for any mounting.  They’re the “pay a bit more and don’t have to think about it” fan.

The 2600 non overclocked will bury that 570 hard.  It will bury a 590 hard too though.  The CPU can handle a future GPU update, the PSU would possibly have more trouble because of its wattage.  A higher wattage PSU could make it easier to update the GPU in the future. A lower metal color rating PSU will use more power whether the GPU is updated or not though.  GPUs are getting faster but their wattage ceiling is determined by the amount of heat an air cooler that fits in a 2 slot space can dissipate.  That’s around 250w Max.  A PSU that can handle a card of that wattage could give you more potential future choices.  It’s only future potential though.  GPUs a re very likely to continue to get faster and more efficient.  There will likely continue to be faster cards available in the wattage range of that PSU.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
