I have a HP S231d monitor, which has a display port input and a usb hub built-in. The thing is, the usb input to the monitor also sends a video signal, allowing it to act as a USB monitor too. This is really annoying, because whilst i have one monitor plugged into my computer, it percieves it as 2 monitors - menaing sometimes programs are opening on the wrong monitor. Is there a way to permanently disbale this feature, because occasionaly, windows will re-enable the usb display adaptor (no idea why).

I have tried uninstalling the usb monitor via device manager, but it just re-installs it automatically.

Any ideas?
