ROG Strix Flare Issue

My Strix Flare has been working well for a while now but recently holding down keys has been giving major issues. If i ever hold down the key for even a split second it will spam like I've been holding it down for a second or 2 and in games when I try moving it isn't smooth and behaves like im doing rapid repeated presses. I have not knowingly changed any keyboard settings.
