I am getting a 3900x, I have looked at the motherboard list for best motherboards. The main question is, would i be better off going with an x570 cause there shouldn't be a non post issue with the updated bios? New to AMD and don't want to have issues building a new computer. I have a MSI board now (INTEL) I don't really have a preference on the brand. I do know the MSI bios but have worked with ASUS before.

What's your budget/country and what kind of features do you need?

The ASus Prime-P is fine for the 12 core

the Gigabyte Elite and ASUS TUF are ~$200 and are the best value boards overall.

Also going to want 3600mhz CL16 RAM if it's cheap enough. Not worth going for 3600mhz CL18 really.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Country is the US and I dont really want to spend $300 plus on a MOBO lol. I have looked at the TUFF and I like that it uses the same VRM's as the high tier mobo's. I got 3200mhz memory CL 16 and going to overclock the memory. It should do fine, if not I can always upgrade the memory. Just want a good base to do everything. I have heard bad things about the Asus prime-p
