So I'm buying the Kingston A2000 M.2 500GB for my PC. Is this a good performer? Is it reliable? Is it ok to put my OS on it?

For its price its a good SSD. It has pretty nice TBW in its class, speeds are not so bad either. What other drives you can get for similar price?

The A2000 is the cheapest one I can get. For 30-40 USD more I can get a Force MP510 480GB and for 60-80 USD more I can get a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500GB

Will you use this SSD extensively for copying files for a long amount of time like 5-10 years? High TBW might come handy, and MP510 has twice the TBW of that kingston.

No. I the storage will just be for various applications and my OS. I don’t copy files at all. The reason I’m going M.2 is because I don’t want to bother with cables and I want it fast so I’m not getting a HDD.
