Hi Everyone, im after some advice in regards to upgrading my CPU - budget is very tight ATM - With the i7 7700k being in the £300 (im in the UK) region looking at this i can get a Ryzen 3600X and new MB for this but with my current RAM i dunno if this would be a good idea. See below for my current Specs

P.S. The RAM is Corsair CMK32GX4M4A2666C16 Vengeance LPX 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4 2666 MHz C16 XMP 2.0 High Performance Desktop Memory Kit (not sure why Speccy is not picking that up)

who ever gave you that advice is smoking something real nice, tell them to hmu. I would actually advise against upgrading your cpu, there isn't enough of a performance gained to actually warrant spending 300 pounds, take that money and save it for maybe a ryzen 9 in like a year or so. that will actually make a difference if you want to stream.

Also the better advice I'd have is to upgrade your gpu, but 300 pounds isn't much of an upgrade as well at this time.

Your CPU is already as good as the ryzen 3600x, save up for the AMD's future 4th gen, and might wanna upgrade from 2666MHz to 3000Mhz if you're getting the 4th gen
