PC doesn't boot after installing new PSU

Hi, today my new Corsair CX550 arived and I installed in my pc and it wont post.. After some time i managed to get it power up but this happens.. It boots up and shuts down and it loops like that all the time.

This might seem like a silly question, but are you using any cables from your older power supply?

No im using corsairs cables

Well, of course you are! I just remembered that the CX550 is non-modular.

 

Anyway, I had this issue once, but for me, it was just the CPU plug needing to be removed and reinserted.

Update: it was a ram problem. It got dust in slots so I had to clean it up and now it works fine. Thanks for the reply tho
