plz help, need advice

So I currently have an i5 6600k, gtx 970, 16gb ram and 1tb hdd in my build. I mostly use it to stream and game, and I have a max. budget of 650 euros and I was planning to get an i7 9700k + new mobo. Is it a good idea?

no its just i have 100% cpu usage in games all the time and i just want to future-proof my pc. i was thinking now maybe i should expand my budget and get an i7 9700k paired with a gtx 1660

If you really want to future proof your PC I would suggest getting something with 16 threads, especially if you are gaming.
The 9700k has 8 cores and 8 threads, which is enough for gaming, but it might struggle with streaming.

I would suggest getting the 9900k or the Ryzen 3700x. However, out of those two, I would recommend the 3700x over the 9900k, mainly because it gets 95% the FPS minimum, but it costs 25% less.

alright, so do you think a ryzen 7 3700x paired with a gtx 1660ti is a good choice for overall performance?
