RGB-softwares

Hi,

I am about to build a gaming computer, and I want every part (keyboard, mouse, motherboard, CPU, GPU etc. etc.) so sync with RGB. But since there are so many difference brands on the market, I want to know which RGB-softwares that are compatible with other brands. Fx. I know MSI Mystic Light are compatible with Corsair for example. But is there are way to find a list over all RGB-softwares and which brands they are compatible with?

Go to the mystic light or the aura sync websites to see what product they support. But be warned, most of the new corsair products are not sync with both of those programs, since corsair is pushing their own icue. software. This I know from experience, since I cannot sync my k55 and harpoon RGB mouse to my asus x470 motherboard.

There isn't "the list", it's a mess. If you want guaranteed compatibility get everything from one ecosystem, for example what's officially labelled "Asus Aura Sync compatible". Here is a link to the corresponding Asus webpage: https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/index.html.

 

I bet similar webpages can be found for other ecosystems like Corsair...

What do you mean by ecosystem?  You mean software?

The link shows for Aura Sync products only. Can't I see which other products Asus Aura can sync with? For example if Asus Aura can sync with razer products and ect.

To my knowledge such a list does not exist. If you want to use a component that is not mentioned in the list of compatible products you will have to check for each individual part on the manufacturers website whether or not it synchronizes with the chosen ecosystem (Asus, Corsair, MSI, Gigabyte...). That's why I always advise to decide what standard you want to use which is usually determined by the mainboard (except corsair, they don't manufacture mainboards). And then you stick to components that are guaranteed to be compatible to that standard.

 

In my case I decided to buy an Asus mainboard so I only used RGB products that are either mentioned on the Asus website as compatible or for which the manufacturer guarantees compatibility.
