Recommendations for Daily Driver Laptop

Looking for a daily driver laptop for minor video editing and light gaming. Hopping to keep the budget around $500. I plan on putting Linux on this machine as well. Thanks in advance for the help.

For $500 this is probably your best bet. It's sold by Best Buy through eBay.

Says '0 available', and are we allowed to post ebay links now?

Well it was being sold by Best Buy so I figured if would be safe. Here’s the next best one I could find, but it’s $100 more. OP never mentioned region so I’m just making suggestions.

Located about 2 hours outside of Dallas, Tx. No real preference on wight size or display. I would like a decent battery but not a deal breaker. Games would be very light, probably nothing more intensive than fortnight.

This is the only other one I found but it may not be available near you, you'll have to check it out.
