Light Room Classic & GPU Issue

My wife uses light room classic for editing and has never had any issues. Last night when she was working in light room while in loupe view and when she made changes it would only change in the small window and not in loupe view. When using RA/YY view what she changes will change, just not in loupe. I updated drives and made sure lr was up to date. The problem persisted. we contacted adobe and they recommended to disable gpu, after doing this it worked. I'm reaching out to see if there is a fix for this so I don't have to switch back and forth for editing/gaming.
