I just bought my new monitor recently (LG 27UL600), while I didn't buy this monitor solely for its HDR capability, its decent DCI-P3 coverage got me excited so I dive in right away to see how the color performance would be with HDR on.

 

Turn out, everything kind of just have this weird tint of purple all around everywhere. It wasn't the bright pink or purple that you would associate with using older HDMI or Display Port though (for the record I use Display Port 1.4 so they should have more than enough bandwidth to display 4k 60 fps HDR content.) So far I got the feeling that this isn't what the HDR image supposed to look like (even for a entry level HDR400 monitor like this one)

 

So do you guy have any idea what kind of problem I am dealing with?
