I got my DS3 working on bluetooth with MotionJoy DS3 Tool. My problem is that every time I reboot, my controller still connect to the computer but it's not detected as a xinput/360... I always need to open DS3 Tool (which shows no controller detected) , click on load drivers and then it's all good. If I don't do this, my DS works in steam Big Picture but isn't recognized in games...

Is there a way to make this permanent ?

Nope, because MotionInJoy is a steaming pile of crap :D

Pretty much this. I've used it a bit.

Check my signature for a possible alternative.

For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.

I've also had MotionInJoy brick a PS3 controller before so I'm not entirely happy with the program because of that. -_-

It also has to always be connected to the internet which makes me very suspicious

There we go. Solution was to use Better DS3. It's pretty much like MotionJoy's DS3 Tool but cleaner, slicker, no ads, more features, works offline...

It starts minimized. I press the PS button and can launch Big Picture right away. Boom !
