My motherboard is the Maximus XI Hero . Its power connectors are the 24 pin EATXPWR, 8 PIN EATX12V_1, and the 4 pin EATX12V_2. The MOBO user guide says that it's recommended you use a PSU that complies with ATX 12V Specification 2.0 (or later version). My PSU is a EVGA 750 GQ, and it says on the box that it complies with ATX12V V2.32 and EPS12V V2.92 . Are these two compatible with each other?

So your mobo has 24pin,8pin, and 4 pin power connectors? The 24pin connector is for the motherboard to power ram etc. The 8 and 4pin are to deliver cpu power.

You wont need the 4pin power connector to cpu. 8pin is enough.

Yes it will support it just fine.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
