Is 87c normal with OCCT

Ryzen 2600 with stock cooler is getting to 87c in 4 minutes which is little high for my liking is this normal?

synthetic stress test? yes, it's normal.

 

real life is going to be 20-30c less

Hot but not unusually so. If you are so inclined invest in a Hyper 212 Black or similar air cooler.

The wraith stealth was pretty underpowered for the 2600 since zen+ draws more power than zen or zen 2, also occt is pretty heavy. Investing in a $20 cooler will bring that down at least 20c and even allow for overclocking.

if it said it had an AM4 support perhaps but thats other thing to watch for not all coolers may not have AM4 support if its older stock
