please, refer to this thread first

So i have been recording some mkv files with fraps that will make it to an avi file. it work flawlessly but the file size became to big.  So i compress my video. but HERE'S THE PROBLEM.
actual scene

then after compressed

post-41967-0-43261700-1391982910_thumb.j

help me please :( it does not happen all the time but only on some scene. yes the effects are the same(blue flashes, screen shaking)
already tried Windows movie maker, Handbrake... no luck :(

Okay, since you seem to have glossed over my reply on that thread, let me ask once more: Why are you recording VLC using FRAPS? It's a needless step. A good video converter can take in MKV files directly.

because if i convert the file directly, the subtitles will not be there in the Compressed video, so i rather just record the scene with the subtitles at the same time.

There are video converters that let you take soft subtitles (the kind in MKV and MP4 container formats) and force them to appear.
