Hey everyone!!

I want a budget video editing rig! My budget is around 700-800 dollars (Including the operating system).

I will use this for video editing as well as some graphic design.

I would prefer it to be quite and have expandability.

Anyone have any ideas for this??

PS: will need a wifi card!

Are any peripherals needed? What kind of videos are you editing/things you are designing? Programs being used?

What kind of expandability are you talking about?

No peripherals needed. 5-8 min 1080p videos on Adobe Premiere and just some logo designing in Illustrator and Photoshop.

It looks good!! Will i be able to overclock a little bit? I was also think of getting a slightly bigger PSU so I could upgrade or add HDDs. Any suggestions on that? Also since I am using Adobe CS wouldn't I benefit from CUDA???

Yes. You should be able to hit 4.4+ ghz depending on your chip.

The psu is plenty if you decide to add hdd's. However if you're considering upgrading your graphics card, you might want to get a better psu.

Adobe is moving towards OpenCL which AMD excels at as well as/instead of CUDA.

I hope you're talking about the capstone 550w because that would be my recommendation: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-capstone550m
