SP120 QE or SP120HP

Hi,

 

 

I'm looking for very quiet fans for my h80i.

 

The SP120 QE makes 0 noise at 1400rpm, but, the SP120HP has better perf at 1400rpm and I don't know if it will be louder at the same rpm

 

Does someone know it? Have you some advice?

theyre both exactly the same fans arent they? except the quiet editions spine at a few hundred rpm and the high performance ones spin at say 1400+?
i could be wrong but allot of people seem to be duped by this thing allot when it comes to fans.
my mantra:get higher speed fans, use a fan controller to slow them down.

dont by fans just because the blades are curved more  :unsure: (remember what i said about being duped) you might aswell get some sickleflows or some noctuas with "notches" in them. those fans are actually made by nidec....you know the xbox fans that made an annoying whirring sound (the deltas were awesome, the sunons were terrible).
fans are just motors with blades on them and no marketing is going to tell you otherwise, yes its possible to get bad fans but the best are within a few percent of each other, linus did a video on this...
yate loons are meant to be good, im not one for going by what people say but looking at the curvature of the blades it makes sense.
buy what you like at the end of the day, its your money and you have to live with it. B)
