Hi i have a Ryzen 7 2700x on a MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard with 16gb 3200 corsair memory and a RTX 2070 super jet stream gpu, i have a 2560 x 1440  monitor with 144 refresh rate, my FPS is ok at best on 2560 x 1440 resolution and high to very high graphical settings (40-60fps) what do you think i should do to get it over 60fps? should i upgrade cpu etc

Any advice very welcome

Thanks

Tried COD modern warfare, Jedi fallen order

Jedi fallen order is poorly optimised, everyone complains of low performance. Cod should work better, you should get 100fps at 1440p, rtx off. If you have rtx on, it may explain why you're getting only 60 or so fps. Check that you haven't enabled any fps limits in the game settings

They do? I don't run an fps counter when I play it, but it feels perfectly smooth (and you only need around 60fps or so for a game of this type to feel smooth). Running all max settings at 2560x1080 on a 1660 Ti.
