How to run two graphics cards without crossfire ?

I recently go into litecoin mining. Here are my specs:

AMD Sempron 145
4GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM 1333mhz
MSI 970A-G46
320GB WD Hard Drive
2x MSI R9 270x (Regular: Not Hawk)
Seasonic 550RM 80 Plus Gold PSU

I want to run the two cards for mining but I don't want to use crossfire. How can I make this work ? Whenever I add the second card, the drivers mess up Win7 and I am forced to use safe mode.

Don't connect the crossfire bridge and check in the AMD Catalyst Control Center to see if Crossfire is disabled

I don't have the crossfire bridge. Yes, it is disabled.

Fully remove your current display drivers. Install new drivers after both cards are installed and "working"

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

If you are having problems then try and reinstalling the most recent drivers

I've uninstalled all drivers. Put two cards without bridge. Loaded windows and it automatically suggested I restart it. Then now, I can't boot into windows. It gives me a black screen after the splash screen.

I can only load Win7 in safe mode. In device manager, it says they are both 'working' with the latest drivers. But when I try to load win7 normal mode, it gives me a black screen after the splash screen.

you did it on your own risk, putting that ''Thank You'' is just childish...

btw, my second r9 270x (one in the second PCI Express bus lane) says "the device isn't using any resources because it has a problem ". Just like in this image: http://i.imgur.com/3ihyDzy.png but instead it says R9 200 Series.

See if there is any option in the Catalyst Control Centre for using 2 cards discretely...or check options in the bios under pci...
