But the DT770/880/990's have very nice (round) earcups.

How large? htf600 are oval and are great headphones for the price. Velur pads for comfort.

 

Also sennheiser. Larger.

sennheiser HD 650 / 600 seems really compelling, if you don't want to shell a lot money take a look at Goldring SR 150.

I can't speak for the audio quality YET but the takstar TS-671 have HUGE earcups, and they're really cheap too.

Fostex T50RP have oval cups, but only sound good when modded. Could DIY or purchase a pre-modded variant from MayflowerElectronics or MrSpeakers.

Sennheiser make good headphones. Also, Shure SRH440 with 840 pads are good if you want closed headphones, but not as large as Sennheisers.
