Hi,

Not super sure about where to post this, but I just picked up a Gigabyte X570 UD motherboard, and I noticed a TPM slot on it, so I Googled it and found out it's related to hardware encryption. I just wanna know, since that Microsoft software encryption thing that they enforced, are hardware TPM chips actually useful still, and if so, which ones would work in this motherboard? The GC-TPM2.0_SV2 Gigabyte one has the same pin layout and says in the description it'll work in their boards up to X470, but it doesn't say X570, so I wasn't sure.

Thanks for any help!
