Winning PSU

I bought this used psu. Cooler master v750sm. Whenever I plug it in, it starts whinning, also when the PC shuts down it clicks. Is this normal? This post is in regard to me other post where my pc shuts down after post logo. Send other post for more details  any help?

If the click is subtle then it's normal. If it's loud there might be a proplem.

Does the whining always have the same tone or does it change?

Yea it always stays the same no tone change

Even when pushing the system? I was thinking it could be coil whine.

Try launcing a game or do a stress test to see if the pitch changes.

Coil whine is not an issue. Many PSUs have a relay, which will click when the PSU turns on/off.

Can even boot to the system, the pc shuts down just after the rog logo. Can’t even enter windows. Here’s the link to the sound

Yea but the pc just shuts off after posting and it won’t turn on unless I cut the power wait for the lights to go out the the the power on. That has to be a psu issue right?

Do you have another PSU to test with?

yea it was a psu issue, its faulty, goes i learned my lessen not to buy used psus
