Hey guys, I recently got an gtx 1070 from a friend and so far it worked pretty fine.

Every game I play is stable and I do not have any issues whatsoever EXCEPT for 2 games: MHW and AC:Odyssey.

I get weird artefacts, or black textures popping up, or a kind of flashing textures and I don´t now why.

So far I have noticed that these problems do not appear in AC as long as I am below 3gb of VRAM usage in the graphic settings tab.

Maybe some of you guys have an idea what it could be?

And yes I reinstalled my graphic drivers and I also reinstalled the games already.

Sounds like there's something wrong with the card. Run a stress test, preferably one that takes up a lot of VRAM.

So i ran firestrike, timespy, OCCT and furmark as benchmarks or stress tests and everything is fine.

I also tried the RE2 remake on max settings as well as the new COD with max settings and do not get even a hint of artifacts. I really don´t get it.

How much of your VRAM did it use? It's possible there's a dying VRAM chip that isn't being utilised in most games or something weird like that.

RE2 peaks at 6.5gb and COD gets even as high as 7.8gb.

AC barely hits 5gb.spacer.png
