Upgrading CPU

I currently have an AMD FX 4300 cpu, and want to upgrade that to something better, considering it doesn't hold up in many tasks I do. Are is the FX 8350 compatible with the motherboard, will it be better, and will it make issues with my 1050 Ti? If anyone could help that would be awesome!

Have a great day :)

To be honest you should probably upgrade to a new platform.

Yeah, as @LinusTechTipsFanFromDarlo suggested... upgrading to a new platform would likely be a good idea, I'd probably do a Ryzen 3700X system. 8 cores and I'd get a 2070 Super for a GPU, or even a 2080 Super. You'll have to upgrade your other components MOBO - Motherboard, and AMD is pretty RAM demanding, really likes high speed RAM, you'll be able to overclock both the CPU and GPU and get some solid performance. Just because Ryzen is geared towards gamers... shouldn't be a reason not to consider upgrading to it, it's a really nice chip.

As a former fx owner, you really don't want to invest more in that platform.
