PC doesn't boot at all

AdoptedAsian

You can check my last post for the full story but now my PC doesn't boot at all. Jumping the power pins and pressing the power button does nothing. I've tried reseating my ram, gpu and cpu but nothing worked. Everything is definitely plugged in and my gpu and mobo both have their idle leds on.

I can't afford to buy another psu/cpu/motherboard only to find out it didn't fix my PC. What can I do?

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 1600Motherboard - Asus Strix B350-F GAMING, RAM -  Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB (2x8GB) 3000Mhz CL15, GPU - Asus Strix GTX 1070Ti, Case - Phanteks Eclipse P400S, Storage - Crucial BX300 240GB + Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5", PSU - Corsair CS650M, OS- Win10 Pro

Based on your previous post I would guess its either your motherboard or your psu. If you know someone who could let you try your system with their psu that would eliminate that as a possibility, otherwise it may be worth taking it all out of the case and testing it to make sure the case isn't somehow shorting anything. I would also try every port on your gpu in the very unlikely case that the port is bad

I had the same thing happen to me recently, do you have the 5v rail? Board light up any? It could be somthing with the main power control in the psu. It could be the board but if you  know how to start the psu manually then it's an easy test

I took it all out of the case and it boots only when in a certain position on the cardboard box. Whether this means it's shorting, or something's cracked idk. I've tried all ports and 2 cables but my peripherals don't get power anyway so it's not just the port/display.

When it boots, the orange led next to the CPU either flashes off and on every second, or stays solid orange (seems to be random each time I boot it and changing ram sticks/slots doesn't affect it)

This would indicate a problem with the motherboard right? I've tried requesting an rma but asus seems really strict on their warranty and the UK website is useless so I'm not sure if that's an option.

Edit: it also seems to be something near the ram slots that's shorted or cracked but there's no visual damage so I'm not sure. When I lift up the top right corner, it boots (but still no output) and then when I let go, it shuts off

Edit 2: the same thing happens when I pull my gpu (like with normal gpu sag) but the ram doesn't light up. Nothing special when I lift both things at the same time

Edit 3: in a different certain position, my ram has a slight orange tint, the light next to the cpu stays off and there's a continuous beep/squeak that doesn't stop

Sounds very much like you have a damaged board.  Cracked traces it sounds like,, put it in the oven! Haha  jkjk
