How do I install minecraft java on my pc?

Go to Minecraft.net and there's an installer you can download from there.

 

It does cost to play though

As @Slottr said, you'd visit https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition/ to purchase the game after installing https://www.java.com/en/
