Any good 144hz 1080p monitor that has no banding.

If price isn't an issue, have you considered 1440p 144hz? Asus has some good IPS models.

Yes, that's a great monitor. I have a much cheaper dell version that is a TN panel and it has some issues with banding as you described, though I don't notice it during gameplay, just in menu screens sometimes.
