Hello, i am goingng to replace my gtx 1070 with rtx 2070 super, ny psu is fsp raider 550w and i was wondering if i have enough power connectors for the new gpu. My gtx is connected with a single 8 ping power, but after checking i notoced the rtx is 8+6. I cant really get the psu out of the case, and i couldnt find any info olline, but i think i saw a free 6+2 connector laying around there..

Thanks!

You have enough power connectors, but this PSU is outdated and i wouldn't put too much hope on it being able to power RTX2070. You need a new PSU. If you're in US you can get a very good 80+ Gold 650W PSU for 70-90$ like Corsair TXm, Enermax Revolution D.F and Corsair RMx.

I know its quite old, but at the moment i cant really get a new one. For the time being, will it work? (say couple months - half a year?)

If it will work straight away, like GPU is stable, no reboots, no driver-crashes, screen flickering etc. then it will work. But my concerns are mostly for the PSU protections, as i said, it's an outdated unit, it's not really for the GPUs this powerful, replace it ASAP.
