Before formatting my PC I could play FIFA 20 pretty good but after reformatting it has become impossible to play it. I'm using latest version of nvdia drivers and Windows 10.Not only FIFA 20 but all the games on PC is unplayable now.

What frame rate do you get, and what would you expect?

 

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-650 @ 3.20GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB)

 

Can you see which graphics adapter is selected in game? Just to make sure its not running off of the iGPU.

Before reformatting on FIFA 20 I got about 60 fps but now its 6-10 fps.

Double check a few things.

1) Check if you are plugged into your graphics card and not the motherboard for video output.

2) Make sure all of your software, drivers, BIOS, etc. are up to date.

3) Use the Nvidia Settings tools to make sure you're graphics settings are not defaulted to the Intel iGPU.

I'm connected through the GPU output.  And I’ve checked every thing is updated.

Question: were your games stored on a different storage device than the one you reformatted Windows on?

No,it was on the same drive.
